Letters of Stephen Buell to his family concerning his experiences as a member of the 46th Engineers, U.S. Army, in the Pacific Theater during World War II. The letters pertain to recreation, religious, and medical topics. Most of the battle news was censored. Also included are legal documents pertaining to Thomas Buell's patent on a seed sower (1875).
